The Vail Chamber & Business Association is hosting a Town Council Candidate Forum from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26 at Donovan Pavilion, presented by the Vail Board of Realtors. The forum will provide an opportunity for each of the ten candidates to introduce themselves and field questions from panelists and the audience. The Vail Town Clerk’s Office has received and validated nomination petitions from ten candidates, including one incumbent, who have filed to run for the four open Vail Town Council seats in the Nov. 7 election. The deadline for submitting nomination petitions was 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28. In alphabetical order, the candidates are:

Staufer is the only incumbent up for re-election, current council members Kim Langmaid, Kevin Foley and Jenn Mason have termed out and are not eligible to run in this election.
