The Town of Vail will sponsor another installment in its Lunch with the Locals series on Wednesday, June 26 at noon in the Grand View Room above Lionshead Welcome Center. Pete Wadden, Town of Vail Watershed Specialist, will discuss the unique meaning and history of the concept of Wilderness in American culture. Experts from Eagle River Coalition, Eagle River Water & Sanitation District, and Town of Vail will be on hand to answer questions. There will also be stickers and informational brochures given away to attendees.
