Applications must be submitted through the Town's online customer portal. If you will be submitting electronic plans/documents for review, you will receive an invitation to upload the information directly to ProjectDox, after your application has been reviewed for completeness. If you are submitting paper plans/documents, please feel free to drop them off at the Community Development Department.

Design Review Board Appeals Form
This application is required for filing an appeal of a Staff, Design Review Board, or Planning and Environmental Commission action/decision. A complete form and associated requirements must be submitted to the Community Development Department within twenty calendar days of the disputed action/decision.

Appeal Submittal Requirements:

  1. On a separate sheet or separate sheets of paper, provide a detailed explanation of how you are an “aggrieved or adversely affected person”.

  2.  On a separate sheet or separate sheets of paper, specify the precise nature of the appeal. Please site specific code sections having relevance to the action being appealed.

  3. Provide a list of names and addresses (both mailing and physical addresses in Vail) of all owners of property who are the subject of the appeal and all adjacent property owners (including owners whose properties are separated from the subject property by a right-of-way, stream or other intervening barrier).

  4. Provide stamped, addressed envelopes for each property owner listed in (3).

     

DRB Written Authorization
Written authorization from adjacent homeowners is required when submitting for any Design Review or Planning and Environmental applications. This applies to homeowners of duplexes, condominiums, or multi-tenant buildings.

Utility Approval & Verification
This form serves to verify that the proposed improvements will not impact any existing or proposed utility services, and also to verify service availability and location for new construction and should be used in conjunction with preparing your utility plan and scheduling installations. NOTE: This form is attached to the DRB Minor Alteration, DRB New Construction and DRB Addition applications.

Eagle River Water and Sanitation District Application Portal
Approval from Eagle River Water and Sanitation District is required for all additions, new construction, and exterior alterations that are proposing work in a utility easement.
