Request an Inspection

Contractors now have multiple options available for requesting inspections.

1. Contractors may request inspections by emailing inspections@vail.gov
   • To ensure your request will be honored, be sure to provide the correct permit number corresponding to the inspection requested.
   • When requesting electrical inspections, please use the corresponding electrical permit number.
   • When submitting this email, please include the following information
     • Permit Number
     • Type of Inspection(s)
     • On-site contact name & phone number
     • Special instructions related to the inspection
2. Request in person at the Community Development office
3. Complete this form: Inspection Request Form

Inspection requests received by 4 p.m. Monday through Friday will be scheduled the next business day.

Requests received after 4 p.m., over the weekend, or on a Town of Vail observed holiday will be scheduled the second business day.
