The records portal and available documents are updated on a regular basis and the information available will change as new ordinances and resolutions are adopted by the Town Council, as all public board meeting minutes and results are approved, and as land use applications and building permits are approved. Colorado Open Records Act (CORA)

For the Town of Vail’s Public Records Policy concerning the public’s right to access public records pursuant to the Colorado Open Records Act, C.R.S. §24-72-200.1, et seq., (“CORA”) regarding open records, inspection of records, and fees for obtaining such records, please view Resolution No. 19, Series of 2014.

Members of the public may request copies of most municipal records by completing a public records request form. This form is used to obtain records of a more complex nature, requiring research and the compilation of documents and information from a variety of sources.
