Vail Local passholders receive free parking in the Vail Village and Lionshead structures when entering after 5 a.m. and exiting before 9 a.m. Passholders who do not exit before 9 a.m. are subject to the regular hourly rates beginning from the time of entry.

Important information to review and collect before purchasing the Vail Local Parking Pass

  • A photo ID and proof of residency, property ownership, or 30+ hours/week employment within the Town of Vail must be uploaded as a single pdf, jpg, or png file. Please have this file ready before proceeding.
  • Please have a credit card ready for payment. This credit card will be saved to your account and charged at exit if you accrue parking charges on this pass.
  • Your license plate can only be attached to one parking account/parking pass.

Remaining Value Card Balances

The remaining balances on Value Cards from three years ago can be reimbursed at the Town Municipal building. For reimbursement, please bring your old value card or an ID to the front desk.  Operating hours are 8 a.m. - 4:45 p.m., Monday-Friday.  Closed on Holidays.

More Info:

  • Parking areas are subject to closures due to events or maintenance needs.
  • Lots may be restricted for use depending on demand.
  • Passes valid for 2024 - 2025 winter season only. No refunds on pass purchases.
  • Parking passes must be used correctly to utilize benefits.
