Town of Vail Accepting Nominations for Vail Trailblazer Award Through Jan. 6
Nominations for the 2023 Vail Trailblazer Award are now being accepted by the Vail Town Clerk’s Office through Jan. 6, 2023. The award is presented annually by the Vail Town Council to recognize an individual, couple or team that exemplifies the spirit and fortitude in making Vail a great community.

Vail Police Seek Assistance in Clothing Theft
At approximately 10:10 a.m. on Nov. 26 an unknown individual entered the Gorsuch Ski Café located at 254 Bridge St in Vail and removed several articles of clothing without paying.

At approximately 12:37 p.m. on Dec. 4, Vail Police officers were dispatched to a report of a man with a gun at the Lionhead Transportation Center located at 350 S. Frontage Rd. West.

Vail Transportation Permits Required for New Season
Transportation providers doing business in Vail are reminded that a permit is required to provide passenger service within the town. The permit system was established in 2012 to help regulate the town’s management of shuttles, limousines, taxis, buses and other transportation services.

Vail Police Seeking Additional Information in Death Investigation
Vail Police are seeking any additional information related to the death of 40-year-old Kendra Hull of Commerce City, Colo. Hull was found deceased in Gore Creek on the morning of July 9 in the area of Bighorn Road and the Interstate 70 interchange on the East Vail bike path.

Paid Parking, Increased Bus Service Begins Nov. 11 with Scheduled Opening of Vail Mountain
Paid parking in Vail’s parking structures and outlying lots will coincide with the start of Vail Mountain’s 2022-2023 ski and snowboard season, which is scheduled for Nov. 11. Town of Vail bus service will also increase on Friday.
