Paid Parking Begins Nov. 12 with Scheduled Opening of Vail Mountain
Paid parking in Vail’s parking structures and outlying lots will coincide with the start of Vail Mountain’s 2021-2022 ski and snowboard season, which is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 12.

E-Vail Courier Pilot Program Launches Nov. 12

Vail Police Investigating Motor Vehicle Theft

Town of Vail Implements New Transit Technology, RideVail
The Town of Vail has implemented a new transit operations management system called RideVail. The new Syncromatics intelligent transportation system (ITS) replaces the previously used Nextbus system.

Citation Issued for Depositing Waste Material into Storm Drain
The Vail Police Department has issued a citation to a local contractor from Sun-Up Sealcoats for depositing waste material into a storm drain after investigating an incident that occurred on Oct. 31.

Vail Coordinated Election is Nov. 2
Vail’s Regular Municipal Election, coordinated with Eagle County, takes place Tuesday, Nov. 2 in which voters will seat four Town Council members and determine the outcome of a .05% sales tax increase to fund housing initiatives, housing developments and housing programs.

Driver Cited for Hazardous Materials Spill on Interstate 70
At approximately 8:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, emergency responders were called to eastbound I-70 at milemarker 174 in Vail to investigate a report of an unlabeled 55-gallon drum on the right shoulder of the highway.

West Vail Master Plan to be Adopted at Nov. 2 Town Council Meeting
The Vail Town Council will review a resolution adopting the West Vail Master Plan during its regular evening meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 2. Resolution No. 50, Series of 2021 is listed as Item 6.1 on the meeting agenda which begins at 6 p.m. in the Vail Town Council Chambers.

Vail Police Investigating Theft from Blitz Boutique
At approximately 5:47 p.m. Oct. 24, three items of clothing were stolen from Blitz Boutique in Vail Village. A suspect came into the store, collected merchandise off the sales racks, and then took them into one of the dressing rooms.
