PARKS AND WILDLIFE COMMISSION

The Parks and Wildlife Commission is currently comprised of members of the State Parks Board and the Wildlife Commission and is a combination of the two boards as they existed when Parks and Wildlife were in separate divisions. Over the coming months, the Parks and Wildlife Commission will develop a proposal for the mission of the new Division of Parks and Wildlife as well as for the size and composition of the Board. Both the mission and the composition of the Commission are outlined in state statute and proposals must be presented to the legislature before changes can occur.
